KALM Publishing is an independent literary service offering complete copyediting and critiquing of your written work, which includes the following editing factors and criteria:

• Clarity
• Word craft, choice and order

• Grammar usage
• Plot lines
• Dialogue

Manuscripts
We offer a free line-by-line edit and critique of the first 12 pages of your manuscript. This service is offered to writers interested in receiving an initial feedback of their work in progress. There is no obligation. Please enclose a self addressed stamped envelope (SASE).

If it is mutually decided to proceed with the edit and critique of the entire manuscript, a contract will be prepared and sent. We have a 300 page limit. Our fees range from $300 - $900.

Short Stories, Articles and Pamphlets
Copyediting of these writings will include all the steps listed above under editing factors and criteria. Both fiction and non-fiction are accepted. Our fee is $4 per page.

All writings should be submitted as follows:

For an initial analysis of your work, you will need to send three pages with a $25 non-refundable deposit. The $25 will be applied to our final charge if a mutual agreement is reached to finish the project. Your check, made payable to KALM Publishing, should accompany work being submitted.
